Molecular Dynamics Visualization

Molecular dynamics (MD) Simulation is a computer simulation of physical movements of atoms and molecules. The atoms and molecules are allowed to interact for a period of time, giving a view of the motion of the atoms. It is applied today mostly in chemical physics, materials science and the modeling of biomolecules. The results of molecular dynamics simulations may be used to determine macroscopic thermodynamic properties of the system [WIKIPEDIA]. The output of these simulations is usually large files with a huge number of numerical values and textual info. Various 3D computer visualization techniques are used to convert these files into a visual formal that is easy to interpret by human minds and useful for researchers and scientists.
